The May shop visit will take place at the shop of Chris Biagini, on Wednesday the 14th and will run from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Chris will display some of the pieces he’s made in the past and will provide a demonstration on the making of biscuit joints. Decaf coffee and cookies will be available. Directions to the Biagini residence, which is located at 26 Caribe Way, follow: Coming from either end of the Village on DeSoto Bl., turn south on Balearic Road. Continue on Balearic Rd. to Reata Way and turn east. Reata Way is just north of the Fuel Stop. Follow Reata Way for approximately ½ mile to Caribe Way and turn right. Go approximately 4/10’s of a mile to 26 Caribe Way. 26 will be the first house on the right after you pass Sorolla Lane. The shop is located in the garage portion of the house. You may park on the street or in a couple of spots along side the driveway as space permits (the driveway is narrow, so parking in the driveway is not recommended). There will be signs to assist you. 5/14/08 May Club Meeting The second Wednesday of the month the club meets in the Ouachita Activities Bldg next to the Woodlawns Auditorium. The "meet & greet" time is from 6:30-7 PM and the meeting is 7-9 PM. The "business" part of the meeting will be limited to introducing the 2008 proposed Board of Directors and voting on them. The meeting includes sharing snacks, socializing and viewing the "Best of Show & Tell" projects. Don't forget to bring one or more of your favorite "show & tell" items/projects for display at this club meeting. Also bring your spouse to our annual Christmas club meeting. Everyone will much appreciate any desert/cookies you are able to share during the 6:30-7 PM "meet & greet" time. The club will be providing hot coffee and cold drinks during the meeting.
