This year the Village Woodworker’s Club is making over four hundred-fifty toys and presents for special children and organizations in Garland and Saline counties. Below is a list of the 2008 toy team members and the toys they are building. A special thanks goes out to the “Doll Ladies” (Joyce Picco, Phyllis Mathias, Margaret Baschetti, Arvella McPhaul, Doris Marrone and Arlene Gruhn) who are refurbishing and clothing the dolls that will be placed in cradles and highchairs built by the woodworkers.

The Team Captain was Dick Herrmann and team members include: Lanny Mabus, Ken MacNeill, Tom Malusky, Dick McGuire, Mark Mullin, Bob Porter, Joe Piland, Don Williams, Carl Who and Don Pilz. Their toy projects include trucks, airplanes, and lap desks. |

The Team Captain is Harold Randol and team members are Dan Moran, Mark Mullin and Don Frost. Their toy project include beaded pull toys grasshoppers, wiggle worms, helicopters and a six car train set. |
