Example Field Trip

Club members ventured 120 miles west to Hatfield, AR for a field trip to Revolutionary Designs, Inc. This is a commercial workshop owned and operated by Rick and Donna Chrisman. They welcomed club members to see their shop and processes for producing unique Shaker inspired wood products. Their 2400 sq.ft. shop is filled with impressive professional equipment and Rick has developed some awesome jigs milled out of solid aluminum.

Example Trip Items

Woodworking tricks and tips were shown for producing a variety of Shaker style boxes. Members were impressed with the intriguing joinery used to make the boxes and purchases were made.
