Frank Labowski's Shop Visit
	Frank opened his workshop for the September 2007 shop visit.  Frank's shop is located in a single car garage.  Frank's workbench and some of his larger tools are fitted with wheels for portability.

Shop Layout
	Frank has an empty wall in his workshop.  He was asking for suggestions from the visiting woodworkers on how to best use this space.

Band Saw Tutorial

Don Pilz gave an informative band saw tutorial.  He described the different types of band saws and their different uses. Don provided a lot of detail on the different types and sizes of band saw blades.  He recommended some sources for replacement blades with approximate pricing. Don demonstrated how to set up a band saw covering such things as wheel alignment, setting the blade tension, and adjusting the guides and bearings.    Dave McMorran asked for some instruction on folding a band saw blade.  Don Pilz demonstrated a folding method, and Dave kept the crowd entertained while attempting to duplicate Don's method.     There are some web sites providing videos demonstrating various band saw folding techniques.  Click on the following links to view: Folding a Band Saw Blade Stu's Shed - Band Saw Blade Folding
