To support a Junior Golf program with approximately 250 participants, the Woodworkers built easy access storage units to hold a large inventory of various golf clubs and bags.
The large number of clubs require a handy and sturdy work area for repairs and work. A heavy duty multi-use work bench was built and installed.
Conduct of the annual Junior Golf program also requires large storage shelf facilities. The above 12 foot double level storage shelves were built to hold boxes of inventory items, such as, caps, t-shirts, balls, tees, etc.
144 Broken Tees Boxes
Golf tees get broken during the course of play and frequently end up littering the ground and cause trouble with the mower and area appearance. The Woodworkers were requested to make 144 boxes for players to put their broken tees into at each "hole". A typical "Broken Tee Box" is installed at each of 18 holes on 8 golf courses.
